GRADE : A-

NOTES :
To start with, these tapes for their age are in very good condition. But they are second generation and 20 years old. What you are about hear, is the result of over 100 hours of mastering. The first step was to get the levels up and do a basic eg for each matching section of songs. The sections were broken to individual tracks and then pre-mastered by adding bass, presence and in some cases stereo expanding and or stereo centering. Each track was then listened to again to repair any glitches and spot noise reduction to remove objectionable hiss within the song. The final stage of mastering was done with harmonic balancing to even the waveform to remove hot frequencies and bring up the ones that were low.

Due to time constraints, Tape 4 - Side A The Ones Who Help To Set The Sun will appear on Volume 2 of these releases.

Due to track title / information length, the CD art will not feature the track titles.

COMMENTS :
In my opinion, some of these sound crisper and cleaner than the officially released WD&DU Demos from YJR. The diginoise that was present on the official release is not present.

ANAMOLIES :
I fixed all the glitches and warbles. There are no issues with the discs. Just issues with the guy mastering ;)

BONUS CONTENT / FILLER : As appears on the cassettes : CD 2 contains items that were listed as "Bonus Tracks" - Organics and Retard Spoilage. Both of these tracks have not seen the light of day until now (to the best of my knowledge.)
